(WAUSAU, WI)- The RiverWolves (1-3-0-0) are ready to go as they welcome the Milwaukee Power (3-7-0-0) tonight at 7:10pm from Marathon Park. Wausau will be looking to dial things back up after not playing for the past 20 days due to Covid-19 positive tests on visiting opponents. Wausau is seeking to even the season series this weekend after falling to Milwaukee on October 24 and 25 by a score of 6-4 and 5-2 in Ozaukee.

What to Watch For

Milwaukee’s series sweep against Wausau was due in part to the help of Teddy Marion, who had two goals on the first night, and two assists on the second. Brady Rossbach also played a part in the sweep, as he contributed two goals and an assist.

Nolan Gifford, a forward from Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and Isaac Wickersheim, a forward from Antigo, Wisconsin, were both bright spots in their previous matchup with Milwaukee. Wickersheim has proven himself to be a valuable asset to the RiverWolves, as he has been a consistent scorer in the early part of the 2020-21 campaign.

Between the Pipes

Joseph La Forge, native of Kenosha, Wisconsin, is expected to start in the net for the RiverWolves. La Forge has a 1-2 record, with a goals against average of 4.67. His save percentage is .912.

The Milwaukee Power are expected to start Cole Shane in the net on Friday night. Shane is from Park Ridge, Illinois.
